LIST OF MANUFACTURERS OF DIESEL GENSETS (UPTO 1000 KVA) WHO HAVE OBTAINED CONFORMITY OF PRODUCTION VERIFICATION CERTIFICATES (COP) FOR NOISE LIMITS
As per section 3.2 of the Govt. Of India notification GSR 371 (E), dated 17.05.2002 and its amendments, at serial number 94, every manufacturer or assembler or importer (hereinafter referred to as 'manufacturer') of DG sets (hereinafter referred to as product) to which these regulations apply must have valid certificates of Type Approval and also valid certificates of Conformity of Production for each year, for all the product models being manufactured or assembled or imported from 1st January 2005 with the noise limit specified.
Following is the list of manufacturers of Diesel Gensets (upto 1000 KVA) who have valid Type Approval / Conformity of Production Verification obtained from any of the following Certification Agencies for compliance Noise Limits.

LIST OF MANUFACTURERS OF NATURAL GAS DRIVEN GENSETS (UPTO 1000 KVA) WHO HAVE OBTAINED CONFORMITY OF PRODUCTION VERIFICATION CERTIFICATES (COP) FOR NOISE LIMITS
As per GSR 281(E); dated 7th March 2016 prescribed maximum permissible sound pressure level for Gensets driven by Natural Gases (NG) with rated capacity upto 800 kW shall be 75 dB(A) at 1 metre from the enclosure surface. Gensets should be provided with integral acoustic enclosure at the manufacturing stage itself. The noise norms shall be effective from the 1st January, 2017.
Following is the list of manufacturers of NG Gensets (upto 1000 KVA) who have valid Type Approval / Conformity of Production Verification obtained from any of the following Certification Agencies for compliance Noise Limits.
